Accessibility

As the Web has become widespread, people with disabilities face being locked out of many opportunities for communication, commerce, and community if websites are not accessible to them. The Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance (DBCF) believes accessibility is the right of all individuals, and we are committed to ensuring our web site meets Priority 1 of the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

We take our responsibility for making accessible web content seriously. DBCF is committed to developing our web site so that it promotes accessibility for people with disabilities and meets current accessibility standards, including those defined by Section 508 web site of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. We are actively engaged in the ongoing process of testing our web site for compliance with current accessibility standards.

We are committed to addressing issues that prevent the use of our web site by people with disabilities in a timely manner. We welcome your feedback and suggestions. If you have any comments or questions about our web site and accessibility, please send an email to our webmaster at webmaster@dbcf.state.ms.us.
